Coding mission

Fire! Fire! Build a fire engine that races around with its siren blaring.

Blocks and their jobs

  • DC Motor Block ×2Fire engine wheels
  • Sound BlockSiren sound

Let's think

Let’s learn about the “Code Repeat Block.”

  1. We want to repeat the “counterclockwise – clockwise – Sol” code a set number of times.
  2. Put those blocks inside the Code Repeat Block. (You can’t put in the Start, catch function, conditional, Close or Endless Loop blocks.)
  3. You can also set how many times the Code Repeat Block repeats.
Show the solution

Use a function to set the sound block’s notes so the fire engine sounds its siren while driving. When a move repeats, put that code inside the code repeat block.
